The ad attracts attention. A consistent offer and the handling of enquiries matter just as much throughout the journey.
01
Define a clear offer
Before running an ad on Facebook or Instagram, define who you are addressing, what you offer and what action you want. “Raise awareness of my business” expresses an intention, but is not enough to define a campaign's message.
Write a sentence that includes the service, the need it addresses and the next step. It should make sense to someone discovering your business for the first time. Avoid promises you cannot explain or keep.
02
Prepare creative that shows what you do
Choose visuals that help explain the offer: a completed project, a real situation or a product in context. Readable text and a well-framed subject are more useful than a collection of logos and tiny messages.
Prepare several genuinely different angles. You could present a service, show a detail of your work or address a common concern. Keep a record of the variations so you know what changed when comparing results.

03
Keep the message consistent after the click
The landing page should continue the ad's message. If the ad presents a specific service, visitors should immediately find that service, useful information and a simple way to contact you. A button leading to an overly general page may force them to start looking again.
Fictional example: an ad presents bathroom renovations. Its landing page shows that service, specifies the area served and offers a quote request. The form asks for the initial information needed, without pretending to replace the conversation that follows.
04
Organize follow-up before the first enquiries
Decide who receives enquiries, where they are centralized and how they will be handled. Prepare a clear confirmation and a way to record the next step: call back, conversation in progress, appointment booked or enquiry closed.
An automated reply can confirm receipt; it does not replace a response tailored to the project. Avoid repeated follow-ups without checking previous conversations and the person's preferences.

05
Separate budgets and assess the whole journey
Platform advertising spend and management fees are separate budget items. Clarify them before launch, along with the creative included, the goals being tracked and how often you will communicate.
Results vary with the offer, creative, audience, budget and handling of enquiries. Do not draw conclusions from a few clicks. Review incoming enquiries, their relevance and the follow-up provided, then decide what adjustments to test. No number of customers or return is guaranteed.
